The newspapers around Louisiana keep talking about the high expectations for Governor Jindal.
The problem is that he has, to this point, not lived up to those expectations.
Just because the Times Picayune’s editorial page says he is a success does not mean that he has been.
They and the rest of the states mainstream media think that the “repeal” of the Stelly Tax was a bad thing. The fact is that if it had really happened the way that the people thought that it should have, then there should be no work that those same people should have to do to get it.
Don’t even start talking about the so-called ethics reforms. Those so-called reforms seem top be unenforceable.
We will have to see if he show some inkling of the potential he seemed to flash in the U.S. House of Representatives and as Candidate Bobby.
