The Abortion Vote

Everyone knows the arguments against abortions. The main argument is that it is murder. It is against God. It is immoral and unethical.

Let me go at it in a different way.

The politicians don’t understand anything but numbers of votes.

Since 1973 there have been approximately 42,000,000 abortions. That’s 1,200,000 abortions per year, 10,000 abortions per month, and 3333.33 abortions per day.

If one takes the number of abortion per year (1.2 million) and multiply it by 25% what you get is 300,000 possible non-felons. I am assuming that the majority of these people, through the majority of their lives, would have been non criminal.

Let’s say that one percent of the yearly amount of abortions what you get is the number of 3000. It is just about the amount of abortions per day. This means that either President or John McCain could have had a possible 3,000 more votes. The previous figure could be a very conservative number. If it is as I think, that this is going to be a period a greatly increased participation by the American people.

If it is true that the numbers of abortions have been decreasing, that is a good thing. This could mean that their will be an increase of the numbers of voters it elections. Now don’t get me wrong, there is the factor that there are fewer babies being born.

The democrats need to understand that there are a great number of what is termed as “Rush Babies.” What this is it the children that have grown up listing to Rush Limbaugh and talk radio. These kids may be democrats or republicans but what they will be is more conservative.

People mean votes.
