Governor Sarah Palin recently quit her post as the Governor of the Alaska.
There are many people that are calling her dumb, stupid, and crazy for doing it.
I firmly disagree.
I think that she is correct to say that she is giving up the office because she can’t be and effective leader. If she has all of these baseless accusations swirling around her, she has to defend herself. In defending herself, she is taking away valuable leadership time away from doing the work of the people of the state of Alaska.
By quitting she will allow the unfounded accusations to fade more into the background. The further away that she gets, the more that the American people will forget about it, and the easier it will be for her to dismiss them when she is running for president.
