We have tho wonder, what has changed. Obama is trying to do in Afghanistan what but, it appears, has done in Iraq.
The current president is trying to nation build. I am not so sure that it will work. Remember that the Soviets tried to do this and it led to the downfall of the U.S.S.R.
It will be tough sledding for America in Afghanistan. The terrain and porlitics seem to be working against them.
I am starting to believe that this could be President Obama’s Vietnam.
