This is a very important day for the nation. This is a day when we a have come together and said that we, the people, are not going to take it anymore.
The biggest problem is corruption.
The way to ferret it out is to be active in looking at it.
We can agree that we need government, but that we do not need the government that we have now. It is too big and corrupt.
For the most part, the corruptions stems from Washington DC, but there are several parts of the country where corruption has reigned supreme for a long, long time.
The “powers that be” or the “Good Old Boys” want things to stay the same. They want big business and special interests to rule the country.
There is a specific scene in on of the Austin Powers movies where everything is coming apart and his mad scheme is failing. His second in command says that the world is ruled by big companies and this was a dumb way of going about things. That is what we have going on with the government.
What we need is a person or series of persons like Eddie Murphy’s character in the ‘Distinguished Gentleman’. The man was a former con-man that got elected, and he ended up cleaning up Washington.
We nee more than one of these types of people. We need some people, on all three sides, to step up and speak out.
