Incumbents are in serious trouble in the next election.
The democrats are on the wrong side of the issues and they don’t seem to care. They refuse to listen to their constituents. Things like the stimulus, tarp, cap and trade, and health care underscore the problems that they will have in the next election. They recent lost a couple of gubernatorial races. The important race is the one in New Jersey. That state has been the blue-est of blue state. The president went there to campaign for John Corzine and it did not work. Corzine lost a close election. In Virginia, the Bob McDonald won that office going away. The democrats would have lost a congressional race in upstate New York if not for the fact that the republican big wigs had gotten behind the wrong candidate.
People are angry at the republicans also. It all goes back to the fact that the republicans started us on the spending spree. This will be the year that rhinos will disappear.
The wave of discontent is cresting and the people are riding high.
