People fight for what they believe in even though it will appear that what they are fighting for is wrong and undefendable.
Climate change is a good example of this.
The hypocrites that went to Copenhagen to put together a treaty that is meant to screw America and the developing world out of their wealth.
Of course, the science is wrong and is slowly being proving wrong but that is not the point. The point is the true-believers in climate changes have been cooking the books in terms of data they use to prove climate change is happening. The prove of what they are doing this is their e-mails. The e-mails say to mess around with the data in an effort to get the results they want.
If on did that with his or her own finances, they would be sent to jail.
