In the election of 2008, the door opened on the Barack Obama Presidency. The problem comes in the fact that they have decided to put the wedge to keep it open on the wrong side of the door.

The wedge they are using could lead to the door slamming shut. In slamming shut, the door will close on the progressives and it will neuter the democrat party for at least a generation.
