Why should Christians not be allowed to participate in political discource?

What needs to be understood is that the people on the other sides of the issues most important to Christians have themselves made these things the issues that they are.

The courts made the abortion issue a big thing. Conservative Christians believe the bible when it says that killing is wrong. The bible does not specify what is killing and does not say things like "in the case of saving life of the mother."

Radical homosexuals want marriage to be redefined. They want same sex marriage and the reason that they give is that they want the same benefits of heterosexual marriage. Again, most Christians believe that homosexuality is wrong and there is now give in the rule. Therefore homosexual marriage is wrong.

That is the crux of the issues that should not be.

Why don’t the wizards of smarts think the this issues did not mean much?

I don’t know, but that does not mean that these issues will not bare their heads in up coming election cycles.
