There is no doubt that this is a big win for the president. Let me stress, FOR THE PRESIDENT. This will, in a lot of folks opinion, be a big loss for the nation.
The president wins by the fact that he gets a lot of things into a so-called stimulus/porky bill that helps the people that got him elected. There are a lot of things in this bill that doesn’t stimulate anything but the pocketbooks of the far left.
The move that the American people get to know this particular bill, the more that they dislike it. The dislike seems to be from both sides of the isle.
There may not be traditional pork in the bill, but there is definitely pork in it.
So this means that the bloom seems to be coming off the rose. This means that a person can definitely lose by winning.
