The so-called stimulus package has caused a multitude of problems.
There are several republican governors that say that they will not take it. This could be academic because the bill is written in such a way that the other officials of the state can accept the money without the governor doing it.
That is the problem that Bobby Jindal finds himself in. Even if he says that he, on behalf of the state, won’t accept a certain part of the money it won’t matter because they are greedy and want to go against the peoples hatred of the bill and be political.
With all the things that the governor has claimed to do (ethics) and the leadership he showed during the hurricanes, it is sad to that it probably does not matter that he has said not to a certain part of the stimulus.
