The mainstream media, as we all know, skewers left and old. It is also a fact that it has no longer done what it is supposed to do.
The job of the media is to report the news, and keep the people in power honest. They, by and large, have not done this. They have basically become cheerleaders.
This humble blogger agrees with Sean Hannity and other when they say that 2008 was the death of the mainstream media. Let me amend that statement, it was the nail in the coffin for the mainstream media. It was bad enough that they were cheerleaders, but then they decided to become organizations that make the news as well as report it. They way that they do this is through polls. What will happen is that they will take a poll that will have carefully worded questions that are there to elicit a certain answer. When they get the answer that they want, they will report it as news.
One of the underlying goals of the democratic party is to keep people poor, spuid, and ignorant. This means that they need help, and it comes from the mainstream media.
There are always two sides to every news story. The problem comes when a news organization refuses to report one side. That often happens with organizations like the New York Times most of the television networks.
It is a fact that most of the reporters are liberal and that is how they try to report the news. We saw this in the coverage of Barak Obama. There was no wrong that this man could do. They over-covered everything that he did and under-covered everything that his opponent did..
If they keep doing this, they will wither on the vine and die off.
