Lobbyists are a way of life in Washington D.C. They will lobby for just about anything.
There have been a ton of different lobbyist in that town. From environmental lobbyists to the ones that work for alcohol and tobacco.
Sometimes I think that they need to be reigned in but I do not won’t their 1st amendment rights seriously curtailed. Sure, as of late, they have lobbied for a lot of bad things like the numerous bailouts but, in that case, they were flim-flamed into doing it by the current so-called President.
The President was in a hurry to “get something done.” Then what he did was to talk down the economy.
Now he wants to seriously curtail the free speech rights of lobbyists. On one hand, I would be all for that because it would hurt the unions and the environmentalists but I do think that it would be a serious step to being able to shut up took talk radio..
This is just another way that he is tacking hard lft.
