It now appears that the Louisiana House of Representatives has all but screwed themselves out of the ability of calling a veto override session. The Senate President Joel Chaisson II use a procedural vote to basically gas the Legislature out of time if they want to call a veto override session.
This could be the best thing for the good people of the state because of they will not be able to override the governors line item veto of any one of the pork projects in the budget.
That is a very good thing. The people are always talking about getting rid of pork.
