Terminology

Words are supposed to mean things. When someone says something that something is supposed mean something specific.

The President wants us not to use the term “War on Terror.” That term needs to be used because that is exactly what is happening.

The democrats were democrats. Then they became liberals. Now they are progressives.

Here in the state of Louisiana, there are taxes and fees. The thing is that fees are taxes.

I do not think that it is not right for people to mess about with the meanings of words.
