Hypocrisy

Mat 23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
Mat 23:4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

It is obvious that the American people are very angry. It is also obvious that the so-called leadership is not listening.

The people continually show up at the town hall meetings to voice their displeasure. The problem is that these so-called leaders refuse to or have flat-out decided not to listen. They a have decided to pass things that should not even be being thought of at this point in time.

The latest of these is the “overhaul” of the country’s healthcare system.

The people that are against it are showing up in spades and af ge being very vocal about it. They are also being castigated about it. Why should they be, because in the lead up to the war in Iraq there were protests everywhere and those people were allowed to speak out and were not spoken about in negative ways.

That’s hypocrisy.
