There is a saying that “The truth shall set you free.”
If you have ever watched the old Wonder Woman show with Linda Carter, you will notice that on her hip she has the Magic Lasso Of Truth. This weapon is designed to make a person to tell the truth while one is tied in it.
That is what we need to make these politicians tell the truth. Barring that, we have things like lie detectors. Lie detectors, are not admissible in the court of law, but that is not what we have here. For the most part, we would not take them to court. What would happen is that the results would be released to the “court of public opinion.” By releasing it to the general public, it will tell the people whose respective politician is lying.
Of course, it has gotten so bad that the public does not need any truth telling aids because it is obvious that, for the most part, the weasels in Washington DC ARE lying.
