The federal government is bleeding the countries finances dry. They are causing the national debt to rise and it appears that they want it to continue.
The more money that they spend, the more the national debt rises.
There are legitimate things that money should be spent one. Those people are finding things the money should not be used for. It is not just the $10000 toilet seats and $5000 hammers but it is the fact that what they want to spend the money on the stimulus packages, bailouts, and possible healtcare overhaul plans.
We need to at least try to put a band-aid on the wound. I know that this may not work, but barring stitching up the cut, which it appears that this particular problem needs, but the un-useful idiots in Washington do not want to do.
