It now appears that “comprehensive” immigration reform is not need.
There are meany reasons for this:
1. The Economy
2. The numbers
It seems that the American economy is scaring them off. The fact that it is harder to get a home does not help either.
It also seems that there is a marked decline in the numbers of births. The fact that the traditional situation of big families, in that culture, is down.
This could be another issue where Obama overestimates where he thinks the American people are.
