For a tsunami to happen, it takes an earthquake somewhere in the middle of the ocean. In the world of politics there will be a tsunami coming, and it will start in 2010. Let me amend that. The tsunami started with the tea parties and the town halls.
It all stems from the fact that the congress is overspending the peoples money. There is also the matter of the politicians passing bills and initiatives the American public does not want.
This all began with the community reinvestment act which was passed in the Carter administration. This was doubled-down on by the Clinton administration. It forced banks to kend money to people who could not pay back the loans.
What came next was the tarp bill. This was money that was to go to banks for their risky lending practices.
Then came the stimulus bill. This bill was and is not a stimulus to anything at all.
Now the want to pass universal healthcare and cap and trade.
Much like Popeye, The Sailor, the American people have “stood enough, and they can’t stands no more.” The democrats are in danger of getting wash away along with some liberals republicans.
