Over the past twelve or thirteen years, there have been some real steps forward in welfare reform.
It is sad to say that one of the constituencies for the democrats is that poor. This means that the more the poor goes back to work, the less power they have.
That is the wrong way to look at this. The way to look at it is that the more of these people to go back to work, the more of them that want to better themselves, the more chances that there will be growth in the unions.
Don’t get me wrong, I think that unions are killing the country but that is not the point. The point is to get a majority of people that are on it, off of welfare.
